Exchanges and returns policy

Returns and exchanges requested by customers
Items before delivery: You can cancel your order by sending an email to translator@honyaku-plus.com within 24 hours after ordering. We do not accept cancellations after work has commenced.

Returns and exchanges for defective goods and services
We will correct any errors in the translation at no extra cost. In the event that the client and Honyaku Plus do not agree on what is an error and what is not, we will enlist the services of a third-party professional translator in that field and language pair to adjudicate.

Delivery terms

Translations will be delivered according to the schedule determined before the order is placed.

Other types of work will be handled in a similar fashion.

Accepted payment methods

Credit cards or via local bank transfer.

Payment period

Consumer orders must be paid before work commences.

Corporate clients located in Japan will be invoiced at the end of the month.

Price

17 yen per character for translation from Japanese to English
The client will be informed of the final price before placing any order. Factors that affect the final price include but are not limited to language pair, language direction, type of content, volume of words, characters or other units, delivery time, and layout requirements.
